High-purity rod from refined cathode; available in 8, 12, 14, 16 and 20 mm diameters, plus sized wire in 1.38 and 2.60 mm.
At Aria Copper and Cable Industries Co., copper cathodes enter the casting cycle after quality control. Using up-cast technology and cold rolling, we produce uniform rod with an optimised microstructure and stable quality for wire and cable manufacturers.
Electrolytic cathode copper wire rod (ETP) is produced by continuous casting and hot rolling. With high purity, excellent electrical conductivity and repeatable mechanical properties, it is a strategic feedstock for wire and cable production lines.
Our rolling and drawing unit also supplies sized copper wire in 1.38 and 2.60 mm diameters. The sizes below are shared with the scrap-based (FRHC) category; each size page explains that both cathode (ETP) and scrap (FRHC) grades are available.
| Copper grade | CI 1040 standard code |
|---|---|
| Minimum Cu + Ag | 99.9% |
| Oxygen content | 5 ± 250 ppm |
| Rod diameter | 8, 12, 14, 16, 20 mm |
|---|---|
| Sized wire | 1.38 and 2.60 mm |
| Electrical conductivity | Over 100% IACS |
Each size has one shared page covering both cathode (ETP) and scrap-based (FRHC) supply. Specify the grade you need when ordering.
